woolies or any good stationers would have letters of sheets, we use them look great in all gold/ silver for funerals and mutli coloured for messages or when someone wants personalised

Thank you for all your help and suggesstions....they were insprirational..

Went to Hobby Craft, (you can all pack up now and get other jobs, they have some truely gobsmackable brides sprays, filled hat boxes et al....) got some stick-on raised letters, called 'thickers' (how appropriate). Gonna colour them and attach them to poly ribbon. (Casket spray gonna look like Miss World).

(birch) tree bark, black marker, white paint marker and a steady hand! (see my pic in gallery-roseball-not one of my best writing attemps tho-have gotten better!) Something different for a more natural look.

love the bark....very effective.

Bark wouldn't be appreciated for this casket spray....very old fashioned and boring, it's for my dear next door neighbour.....wants lots of pink cars.... Tried to talk him out of having lettering, but bless him, said she would've liked it........and didn't have the heart to grimace when he said what he wanted written. Oh well....the bereaved get what they want.

Have fairly free hand with the 2 other family tributes....apart from them wanting LOTS of cars......really nothing to tax my artistic/creative juices, but I shall enjoy making them for her. Am I strange, I find it very therapeutic to do family/friends flowers, it's like something special/final I can do for them.
