Hi All
My Bride has a plum colour scheme and every colour rose i have suggested still isn't the colour she is looking for. She had a friend who had the same colours and the only way to get the right colour was for the florist to dye the roses antique lavender. Have any of you dyed roses before ? Did they look ok or tacky? do you need to do them the day before the wedding ? Would be grateful for some help Lorraine |

Dying Roses
I must say I don't fancy attempting to dye roses.
Like you said how can you be sure you are going to get the right colour. Even if you do a dummy run there is nothing to say you will get the same colour for the wedding day. I have suggested she tries to find some glass beads etc, ribbon to go around the stems of the posy. I might suggest she gets her friends florist to do her flowers. Lorraine |

it just isnt possible to get the exact colour sometimes but im sure you've showed her some shades that will match the dresses, honestly think that dyed roses wouldnt look nice and you're unlikely to get the exact shade. Sometimes its not worth the hastle, for me anyway, some brides just want the impossible. If she wanted the exact shade then she should have chosen dresses to match the roses!!
