Not very popular sometimes we make this type of bouquet for a bride who is getting married out foreign but I do have a wedding in a few weeks where the bride is insisting on silk because she is allergic to fresh so we will oblige and yes we can get very nice silk which look good, normally I would make this type of bouquet with fresh foliage then it looks more like fresh

Ideal for window we have had some wonderful silks recently and find we are selling more previously it was silk posies for graves only but have noticed over last few weeks we have had to buy more and more silk for quite a few orders We make our silk posies in square round put fencing post cement in bottom steel plate then oasis on top does leave oasis higher but gives required weight.

I often make silk flower hair combs or on a single wire for brides. Also silk posies for weddings where there is a lot of travel envolved. Not my favourite thing to make as I remove the head use a hot needle to make a hole , then attach a wire and tape. Time consuming but at least it can be done whenever.

don't do silk don't like silk, it gets all dirty in my shop being the way it is think its time to take the hops down and give it a bloody good paint job
we have a fab silk/dry flower shop not far from us and prices are really good so don't bother trying to compete not worth it shops too small so i send them there should start asking for a commission but i know what he'd say he is quite rude but i banter with him now i know what hes like |
