It can be totally off the wall. The more off the wall; the better! The lilies are the glue that holds all the designs together! You're right.

Hi jaken I did something similar for a friends beauty salon open evening recently my base was made of dark twigs bound together reclangular to fill the window. I then wrapped philes with sisal and coloured wire then attached them, I used bright Gerbras and some twinkling lights (well it was evening ) she was over the moon it was eye catching and lasted well. Oh I added bright feathers too, reading this back it sounds a bit tacky but believe me it was really nice sadly I don't have a picture to post but maybe you could subsitute the Gerbras for Gloriosa Lillies? Good luck with it.

I think something natural and waterfally with grasses/twigs and cascading lilies.
Or cover a small square with massed lilies with one contrasting colour/flower in it and call it ."whatever it's called college -stand out from the crowd!!!
