Thanks Girls

Thanks, there was 3 people in the room watching over us and it just really got to me, going to have another go at it in a few weeks time, so I'll practice at home until I do it again.

Shape was ok, but I struggled with tying the Aspidistra leaf's in at the end, and with the short time I had left, it was obvious it would be a flop.

It's just when you have these bad days you wonder if you are upto it all, and of course everyone is better than you

Roll on next week,

Bel x

Just a suggestion but sometimes the aspidistra leaves can be abit slippy especially if theyve been shined up so you should try something thats got more of a grip to it.It will then hold everything in place aswell. Keep smiling.

Hi Belinda,

Don't be to hard on yourself I am sure you tried your very best.

But I am sure you have learnt from this, as we all do with practice & experience.
My top tip is to use materials you are comfortable & familiar with for exams etc. We may feel leatherleaf is a bit boring, but if the materials are suitable for the assignment you will not be marked down & you will feel happy using them, so chin up.

Love

Kez x

We had 20 mins to do it, 10 mins into it I realised my tying point was too low, so had to start all over, then I panicked and it all went wrong after that as I was so nervous.

Very upset, especially as I was the only one, had a few tears since

Thanks for asking,

Time for some much needed Tea.

Hi Belinda

Sorry to hear that, but I'm right behind you. Failed my single ended funeral spray on Tues . I was disgusted with myself, I don't do failure very well.

Anyways how did you get on with the colour wheel assignment, have you had it back yet?

Horrible when you think you are getting there and then you fail but it is a learning curve and I think we all need a knock back otherwise we think we know it all and get to clever as if we could ever be!!!!!!

Hi Frizzytwig,

Sorry to hear about your Single Ended Spray, looks like we have both had a difficult week

I did the Colour project, handed it in and it's being looked at, was very happy with it in the end. Have to do the Light project now, haven't a clue what to do for that as I can't remember getting a hand out for it, and the Victorian project too.

Better luck this week for us both hopefully

Bel xx

Victorian Posy consists of a central flower usually a rosebud surrounded by 4 concentric circle of colour each band of colour being formed by one type of flower or foliage doomed in shape and finished by an outer ring of leaves foliage and finally a lace frill colours of lilacs blues dusky pinks and rose would be suitable hope this helps have been looking through my files for the lighting if I still have it down I will send it to you
