Have been asked to do the flowers for the School prom. Colour theme is silver and lilac. Any suggestions much appreciated and if you have any photos i would love to see them!!

I cant believe i found this forum, it is fab!
i would do, black wrought iron pedestal stands with a, "funky" design a little contemporary maybe with some silver wire with loads of purple, maybe purple veronica, lavender stocks, blue hydranga heads, lucky bamboo, bear grass and other blue flowers also i would use white, adding silver accessories.

Yes that is great, i was thinking of hydrangas as i love them. The bamboo sounds good, want to keep it quite modern as they are young uns!

thats ok glad to of helped! i love hydrangas too!!! the bamboo will br great for the difference also snake grass you can get some really cool shapes with that!

because its for a prom I expect the budget is fairly tight (i dont find schools the biggest of spenders) so I would be looking round seeing what I can find thats free, like vine from next doors clematis, ivy, maybe silver bark and twigs/willow that can be spryed silver etc
