chefs hat tribute
yep, a chefs hat tribute, i've one to do for monday & am going to do it flat - cut out of a 2 x 2 oasis board. I was thinking of doing it in white double & using black cord for the detail. I have'nt looked yet but could anyone point me in the right direction for a template of sorts and has anyone any tips - please, pretty please,
oh & how much would you charge, i have to give an idea tomorrow am, was thinking around £80 as its flat & not sculpted, [but i do tend to underquote] ![]() thanks in advance!!! |

Although u wouldnt get many orders of these, when making templates for other more popular designs,, pint of beer, bottle of alcohol, fish, etc... we use cardboard that way u can keep the template and re-use it...

thanks everyone! very, very much appreciated.
i've never done a 'freehand' one before, i did get asked to do a salmon leaping out of water in 3d, but passed on that, nearly passed it to obowl actually! i've found a template & hopefully its simple enough to size up, as you say it is a simple enough outline. good idea about making a cardboard template too, ta i'll have a mess with the offcuts about adding definition & contour & see which method i feel happiest with.no problem re the lillies Kazzy, i might be ringing you on fri/sat for some of my own - got an all white lily tribute for the same funeral, so if they aint showing signs of opening........................ thanks again people xx |
