We made ours with deco wire and I still wear mine on it's own. If the floristry doesn't work out I can always make bracelets for a living

Hi, I must admit for speed,i use bracelets, some you can wire some you need to glue, I have also used a corsage magets to hold flowers onto a metalalic bracelet, (just make a shorter version of a corsage, glue on magnet to flowers and use 2 of the thicker magnets to hold them in place) hey presto done !

You need to use 2 of the thicker magnets ,and plenty of glue to make it work, it takes a lot to seperate them, believe me i have made loads of them for bridesmaids ,and guests, without any problems at all.the feedback i had from these was all good.(I made one up in silk and gave it to my grandaughter to use before i even let them loose on customers. as she is a bit of a tomboy). no problems at all. I also use this method on handbags, using the double thickness magnets and never had any problems there either. try it !

Fab suggestions people...got to make one for a toddler bridesmaid next week but the pearl and metal elasticated wotsits are way too big. I have some velcro ones, but one look at that and I can instantly see that the amount of foam required would make it stand way too proud for the poor wee girlie. Didn't even occur to me to make my own for some reason.

We do them as per corsage, then have a loooong length of fairly wide satin ribbon, fix to that, and leave a nice twirly tail. the ribbon goes round the wrist, back over the tail (yhus keeping it firm) and then tied in a bow, thus becoming an added decorative feature. But you have to explain this to customer the first time, and tell them to get another woman to do it (men tend to be too ham-fisted to do it!!!!) (sorry to the men on this site - of course you are the exception
