Spitfire

Hey, any reccomendations to do a 'Spitfire' 3d funeral piece. Price doesnt matter at all.

Ive bought some lovely diff green mosses to do the cammo, but what about the blue underside and base?

Anyone got any idea's?

Its for my grandad, he's not gone yet but i have to concentrate on something orelse i get myself all worked up. He's very poorly. Thats why price or time it takes doesnt matter!

what about blue hydrangea, they are the only thing I can think of that is really a nice blue colour and you would have to wire in clusters but one head would go quite a way at the moment, the ones i have in the shop are huge. the other thing I thought maybe blue delphiniums but the really blue ones arent that big really and not great for cover i dont think, there is the bigger ones but they are a bit more lilacy. the base you could moss to look like grass, other than that the green xnths are a lovely bright green and would look great, the only thing with them is sometimes the stems arent that strong so find myself wiring them or you could pin them with hairpins just to make sure they dont pop out.

Gilbert thompson has a fresh side, plant side and sunderies side which is quite good they open @ 4 or 5 am and shut at 10ish. i go around 6.30 to get the pic of things but sometimes your waiting for the dutch lorry to get there
They dont open sundays, but seasonal times they do..................
just let me know if you need help getting your frame or you can follow me one morning from junction 32 on the m62..................takes me 20 mins to get there or 1 hour if traffic is crap

Im fine for wholesalers in Hull, but they dont do 3D stuff apart from Bunnies. I could do with knowing someone down in Plymouth tho, would rather get them down there and do them there rather than travel with flowers, gunna b so hard!
