gates of heaven
ok, need some tips please.
my nan passed away yesterday and my mum wants the gates of heaven, done tastefully of course. no xanth (thankthuck) all filiage with small amount of flower. now, i have done goh in xanth before but never with foliage. any tips on the best foliage, any suggestions for giving it that little extra something. mind is a blank. it will have galax leaves as these are my faves for foliage ladden things, but want something with a bit of oomph. any suggestions welcome, thanks guys x

hhhmm so many thing you could use:
moss aspidistra leaves lily grass ivy I love the red leaves (cant remember what they are called, a bit smaler than aspidistra leaves)...

aspidistra black tie? love them too
i dont want to use ivy, dont know why really  maybe i have lsot the plot.thanks for the suggestions hun

No not black tie's, they are too big... They are red/green cordyline.. You get them in a bunch... Im using the for everything...Especially for funeral work..You know, bend them and stable them. It give lovely colour and gives it a bit of phooow...he he

Do you want flat basing or textered......?
Continus leaves would look good for flat.....know they're ok as cut in vase/arrangement, but don't know for basing, but can experiment for you if you like the idea.... Anything I can help with, let me know.....X

So sorry for your loss, Lou.
Mardy has some lovely Stachys!  Mini pittosporum is nice to, quite 'fluffy' when massed on short stems.
