Hi
I am having a dilema! My daughter is getting married on 22nd of this month, I am not doing her flowers as I have only just finished my first year of training. I did decide to sort the little flowers for the bridesmaids hair, I intend to use small silk flowers but am a bit worried as the best way to attach them, maybe to hair grips?? How embarrasing if the only thing the MOB did fell to bits on the day

any suggestions gratefully received

how about glueing them to small combs or if these are too big for the little girls glue them to plain untextured hair slides
use a hot glue gun it will set quicker and i think it's a little bit stronger

Glue them to a hair band you can get nice thin ones the plastic type is best put pot (Oasis tape) tape on first then glue to pot tape

You can hot glue small heads directly onto 'kirby' grips or to small hair slides or combs.
If you want to use plastic Alice bands, you can bind satin ribbon onto the band and then hot glue the flower heads to the ribbon.

If its just individual flowers just tape with white tape leaving about an inch and a half stem. The hair dresser will just kirby them into the hair

yep hot glue guns are fab but the burns of them are so sore

i use mine for all sorts lol so i agree hot glue onto either comb or hairband

If they are having their hair tied in bunches or pony tails you could stiich the flowers onto those elasticated hair bands.

I do like amanda most times, depends i suppose if they want a cluster of flowers or individual here and there, best to use brown tape cause then u wont see it much but i dont have any so use white too

we tend to wire and cover and then let the hairdresser do the rest

It is individually placed flowers that they want. I will have a go at a couple of those things. I like the idea of wiring them and letting the hairdresser place them with grips, I am sure they are used to doing that
