Used to cover boxes with paper (used brown on a ream, seemed better and easier) but last year i gave the flower box design a go, and to be honest, we have used them ever since, they look so much more professional, best used with hand tieds but can be used with most bouquets, we stock both sizes but have found that the smaller size gets used much more, looks extremely good when u have a couple of hand tieds, either side and the middle sections full of buttonholes/corsages etc. they do add a small amount but the bride wouldnt even notice it, we dont make a profit on the boxes but they certainly add to the presentation of our bouquets. (some brides even bring the boxes back after the wedding, one option would be to charge a refundable amount, of around £5.00, that way if they keep the box then you earn on it, and if they return then u get to re-use it) only downside is they are a little narrow, but thats no major problem.

That's interesting FBA, I've only ever heard florists critisis them before because of the price. I cover my boxes in pretty floral paper then pad them out to support the bouquets with paper. It's very time consuming and can be a pain trying to get just the right box. You've given me some food for thought, especially the idea of being able to re-use them. May I ask which stockest you use?

this is the place, obviously u still have to put them together but it takes me around 2 mins. bit of cellotape and bobs your uncle. if u r interested just order one box..... of the small ones.... give em a try. They suit us but that doesnt mean they will suit everyone. I prob wont order the large ones again, the sides are too high which means the h/tieds dont sit correctly but then it does depend on the size of the h/tied. wired bouquets sit better in the small ones also. |

I think they were in the region of £30.00 inc of Vat per carton,,, that would put them at £3.00 per box, im sure your bride would be willing to spend that, or you can just add it to the price, with a refund on return of box.
if you are in doubt, try asking them for a sample,, not sure if they would though. Worth a try |
