hi folks..i just know i am gonna lose sleep tonight! i am making a pomander tomorow for a wedding on friday, and need to know how to protect the cream organza ribbon from becoming green and wet from the oasis when i pass it through the wet oasis ball. was thinking along the lines of using a straw to pass ribbon through..but could do with some more ideas...i just have a feeling that this one is so simple!

I would use a long wire about a .90g ~ make a loop on one end for the ribbon push it through the foam make a hook effect on the end and fold it into the foam base so this holds the weight of the flowers and the ribbon is not through the foam this won't be seen with all the flowers and foliages around it
if you want ribbon hanging from the bottom attach it to the wire before you fold it into the foam

wrap the oasis ball with a net and tie ur ribbon only to the net. use plastic tie to fix the net to the foam ball.

never done it like that before, wouldnt the weight of the ball with the flowers not pull the ribbon off possibly, I do them pinklilys way

Yep I do them pinklilys way but also wrap the oasis in net as the little darlings do sometimes like their toe at the ball had experience where this happened and the little brats walked up the aisle with half in each hand
