how strange is that went to my wholesalers in stoke and spotted he had peacock feathers in threes wired on sticks fab did a really funky arrangement for the hairdressers with them

Been to quite a few of Richard's demos always enjoy them last one he was using wool he had knitted a cover for a flower pot was really nice also made a pot with sissal tried that one in the shop and sold every plant. Tease out sissal spray with spray glue and shape over plastic flower pot leaving a frill around the edge and secure with matching ribbon/pipe cleaners or wire

I attended a small workshop with Richard Haslam where he showed us how to craft corsage bracelets from silver reel wire which have been incredibly popular with Mothers of the Bride and Groom. It took a bit of practise to perfect but we charge £25 for them with dendrobiums or freesia and they can bring the bracelet back to get the flowers re-done if they have another event to go to. Much more elegant than those awkward metal and velcro jobs. He's a genius! And a very, very nice man.

You can see his examples in last year's Fusion Flowers Wedding Edition.
