its too hard to pick a favourite colour there are too many nice ones. My favouritist ?! (i know i made it up) is purple, lovely deep rich purple! but I also love red, in particular red roses.
With purple I love lime green and orange, or red and purple, or cerise and lime and purple...in fact surely purple is the best cos its goes with loads of fab colours. I love strong, bright, funky combinations...but in the summer I'm obsessed with summery pinks of peonies and stock, sweet peas and the like. I get slightly depressed in winter when there is no pretty summery stuff available peach is my least favourite colourits a bit like sick, there are a few vintagey peachish roses that are the only excetpion, but if someone asks for peach in their bouquet I cringe and then think bugger I'm gonna have to buy something peach now! I'm also loving the turquoise, pale blue and brown combination that seems to be everywhere at the moment, which is handy for accessories cos our lounge is in those colours ![]()

Ugh peach, yeah I have a strong dislike for that colour too. I have seen a couple of passable varieties of peach rose but that's it.
We had a incoming relay order yesterday "to include apricot roses" - BLEUURRRGGGHHHHH, decided to go for 10 stems of spray rose as I really did not want to be stuck with a load of roses that won't get used as I don't think anyone in my shops likes peach! |

Got to do yellow, white and blue funeral bouquet tomorrow. Double yuck. Not a fan of yellow either. It can work with a bright cerise and lime but other than that don't like it. As Orchidlover said, its great that colours change with the seasons. We get a whole new palette to play with.

I don't mind some yellows, but I'm not that much of a fan either.
Can't stand yellow with pink, was taught that "yellow and pink stink" - I've got a bride next month who's having cerise pink and bright yellow gerberas, sends shivers up and down my spine but I guess it could work! |

Question for you red rose fans - what do you put with them for wedding flowers - bouquets and arrs? In the winter I'm fine, berries, foliages, cymbidiums, all that stuff looks great with them, but I really struggle with summer red weddings, a lot of the 'red' flowers are actually a bit orange, or you end up going towards the burgundy, which often they don't want either.
