dying callas red!
GOt a bride in today who wants red callas for her bouquet - the usual thing - she has seen them in a magazine and fell in love with them. Anybody have any tips on dying them? Would red food colouring be o.k. - worried that it might (what do I mean might) rain - would the dye run all over her lovely wedding dress!!!???
Any tips gratefully received.

if they are too dark and she wants dyed ones then i wouldnt touch it with a barge pole, could end up looking like a shower scene from a horror film if it rains

that's what I was worried about. Have never seen majestic red. Will investigate and ask my suppliers. Thanks for prmpt replies

Maryjohn you need to tell her that the picture in the mag will have been enhanced so the colour she is seeing is probably not the true colour of the flower. Bloody magazines drive me mad, have you seen the colour they get aqua roses sometimes ...........
