Basically..if it is you who decides when she will work, what she does and how she does it, she will not be deemed 'self employed' and you will have problems eventually with the revenue. A straight forward contract of employment is all that you need and you don't need a solicitor, the requirements are freely available, you just need to state the terms. i.e. job description, hours of work, rate of pay, holiday entitlement etc, etc.
