Hi

My friend is getting married next year, and was enquiring about the cost of Phalaenopsis'

Can I ask what you are currently paying for these in white with a coral centre?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Also do you think you could go for a "tropical feel" with these?

Yes they are, the dark pink ones. Not the ones I'd usually buy but I had an order - wasn't even expecting my dutchman to have them so that was a bonus. Already told the customer I'd probably have to substitute.

Rosa, you said in another thread you hand tie the orchids, Do you use a whole stem to define the shape?I've never done a teardrop in them and have to do one next year. I've done a funny extension one with them, is it the same kind of thing?

To answer your question Kelly, I don't think it really matters as much how much a florist would pay for phalaenopsis orchids - with something like that I personally think you should charge for what you think the bouquet is worth, rathen the flowers plus mark up.

Depends on how you're having the bouquet - are you making a wired shower bouquet or one in foam or as a hand tied?
