First time to this site thanks to an invite from Pottyboutflowers :-) From what I read so far you all sound a wonderful bunch and looking forward to being part of the network.

We are aiming to open for bank holiday after taking months of renovating an old shop and getting things together nicely. However, its to do with the relay services

We have been considering after looking at everything to try Florist2Florist/Petals etc and any florists not listed we shall try and find online to send on an order.

But...what is the proceedure, and do we take out some commission for doing this sort of thing and vice versa?

If you go with florist2florist then they sort all the commision out for you. All you need to do is take the order, send it and your c/card will be billed but the commision will have already been worked out by them for you taking the order before they pass it onto another florist.

When they send you an order, the order value will be there clearly, and you have the full value of the order, not like a lot of other relays where they take a percentage from you and you dont get the full order value.

Its very reasonable to join, and they are a great bunch.

I would recommend them anyday.

I highly recommend them too. Really cheap to join and no silly ongoing costs like some of the other companys we wont mention. Been really impressed with them.

I have to agree with the girls i am with F2F and Direct2florist and they have been really easy to deal with and are always so helpfull.

hi deelite fab to see you on here i'm sure simon from f2f will email you i spoke to him the other day and i love the idea of direct 2 florist takes all the mither out of trying to send through the head office(say in advance) then finding out the recieving florist at the other end only recieved it at 12 on the del day !!!!! you know its got ato a florist and you get to see the sort of work they produce etc... and they have thier own prices its a fantasic idea which i am taking up and joining fee is minimul

THanks for the advice - was wondering also if another florist calls who is not linked up with F2F etc, or F2F doesnt have a florist on its directory in another country, can we find one ourselves and approach them? Then how does the commission thing work? Hope I am making sense!

Yes Potty, will keep you informed of our opening but I doubt it will be in 2 weeks time when you are around. Lets hope you can visit us on another trip our way, hey?

Dee, There are not many companies that can be trusted with regard to flower relay for several reasons but I have dealt with simon at Florist 2 Florist for a few years and i'd def advise you to have a chat to him i've always found the company to be honest, reliable and very helpful which is not something i can say about any of the others.

I'm sure others on here will agree with that.

(And he didn't pay me to say that! ha ha)
