Had our worst day ever yesterday - looks like today is going to be the same

We're really quiet today. Just had a fight with one of my girls about who was going to make the bouquet that was just ordered ha ha ha.

There's also only so much cleaning you can do!

The sun has come out in Edina tody and I am feeling a little more positive.
When we were having a quiet day a lady I used work with would fill up the cheaper types of balloons with helium, put them on a bit poly ribbon with a shop sticker and hand them out to kiddies, students or anyone that wanted them really!
Would this work for you? Not great if its raining... and probably won't get people in the door right away but they will remember you in future.

Its days like today that I thank god I bought a town centre shop rather than residential! Phewy. Its just dawned on me though I'm not going to have enough room at Christmas! need a bit of a move round methinks.

Flowerangel, the balloons thing is odd, if you put up loons outside the shop prople are so nosy they come in to see what they're missing. Odd.

One of our shops is quite small, so we take home everything off the shelves to free up space to put aquas and arrangements. Takes some careful planning!

I can't think that far ahead! Trouble in here for xmas is that I sell gifts too so need a certain amount of room for them too. I will def clear the shop out though for valentines. I'm toying with the idea of ditching some of the gifts too as I do about 80% on flowers and plants anyway but its nice for walk ins, they usually buy a card or candle. Need to put my designs skills to use I think to make the most of the shop floor.

Mothers Day here was fun fun fun when I opened, soooo busy, constantly trampling on greenery and leaves behind counter. I hate mess.

my days just shit in all directions everything seem so shite i feel shite the kids have giving shit this morning the weathers shit the other thing i posted in the private club is shit and shop had 2 customers

but i have just taken a funeral orders for £160.00 quid so worth being pen!!

but its all shit still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's all a bit shit here today too, rain lashing down, thunder & lightning, my staff getting on my nerves, ah, but the smell of polish and floor cleaner is like a balm as I sit hiding in the office 'busy with admin' hehehe.
