impale your finger on one. I don't quite know how I did it, but it was suddenly just there, in one side and out the other oww!! I was making a load of buttonholes and had only made a couple when I did it. Right in through the fleshy part, very disgusting!
Anyway to cut a long story short after a several hours in A & E, two x-rays, and
no anaesthetic (I was very brave) the nasty wire is out and I skulked off home early feeling sorry for myself, now I only have a plaster to show for it (apart from the photo my boyfriend insisted on taking)

Oooh nasty. Funny sometimes things like that happen and you can see yourself doing it kinda in slow motion but are powerless to stop yourself. Hope you managed to get the order out in time.

oooh owww bet thats sour i remember de thorning white roses with the oasis knives slipped oh fell about giggleing my thumb end was flapping about!!!! we had a sa;es rep in the shop at the time luckily where i worked in handforth had a medical centre straight across the road so i got over there and the pain kicked in owwwwww a couple of butterfly stiches later i was fine got a cute scare!!!!did it the other week but with the sissors thought i was snipping the flower but unfortunatly it was my pointing finger now if anyone was wondering why i'm called potty now you know!!!!

I had to call my other florist in as there was about hour left before the wedding had to be delivered, my boyfriend left work to take me to A & E. Still don't know how it actually happened, the wire just shouldn't have been there. I don 't think I could put the pic in the gallery unless we have a section for over 18s!

My finger's fine now as long as I don't touch anything with it which will be fun next week when my florist in on holiday

sounds horrible hope you recover quickly, im always worried about injurys, did everyone have tetnus shots? i hav'nt.
