Do any forum members here buy british flowers?

That was interesting. Didn't think much of her arrangements, the only thing I liked was the handtied in Moyses Stevens.

Wouldn't it be great to have corporate customers where you could change the flowers every few days!

I don't buy locally, one of our wholesalers does stock locally grown flowers but to be honest I always assumed that the vase life would be shit, having watched that programme I might well be persuaded to give it a try.

LOVED the cymbids though, they looked gorgeous.

Don't you just love the skewed way that the south of England view this country's geography.... some florist in the midlands couldn't be further away from where the flowers are grown??


Errrmm?? I think we are, and there are load more further north than us!

We would love to support British growers, and will look into it further, but the customers probably won't pay the premium.

Did you notice the sweet pea grower who said he's getting the same per stem as 20 years ago, but it's the supermarkets who are screwing him.
