Romantic Groom
Wedding Saturday, bride had wired cymbid orchid posy, china grass loops and bling pins (I'm not so keen but its her day)(orchid wholesale £17 ex vat per stem!)
She was so excited when I arrived, kissed me and hugged me. Rushed off to show me a gift from her hubbY to be. A photo album with all their precious moments together. He had written poems and even pressed flowers! It was so personal that I felt a little embarassed. The last page had magazine clippings of all her favourite things/people she aspires too /etc etc. That was really touching even for a cynical old bag like me! |

I sometimes get grooms wanting to send a special bouquet to the bride on the morning of their wedding, and I was once asked to include a gift with the flowers - a box which had a trinket for her to wear on the day. I thought that they were pretty romantic, but they pale compared to that. I'm obviously and old sop because I think that's lovely. (no I said an old sop not an old soak lol)
