Has anybody else heard of this new supplier, they open on the 22 october on the Wardley Industrial Estate with free food and wine also the best bit is 10 per cent off your first order bought on this date. Should be worth a look.
Its not too far from Country Baskets aswell. Visit 2 suppliers in one day.

Van Vilet are a very big dutch company, they have places in alot of citys in England, Scotland and Ireland.

Hi just to lot you know went to the open day but missed the demos managed to see some arrangements though (really nice). They were all bought by the end of the day. Nice flowers a good range of sundries very nice staff open mon - fri 5.00 to 1.30 and then sat 5.00 - 9.00. Good prices too. They also had specials on i.e. We bought begonias at 50p each plus we got 10 % discount on our first purchase it is well worth a look. They are also hoping to start a delivery service aswel soon.

we have Van Vliet here in Edinburgh, right across the road from the other main wholesaler - Henry Doys.

Our experience is that they are competitive on price and quality, and that the staff are very helpful.

I'm not sure, but I guess having the two main outlets so close to each other kepps them on their toes!

Thanks for your reply, yes I guess your right. I have been a couple of times now and they send you emails and faxes with the prices each week, the good thing about that is you know everyone else is paying the same price. Plus it is slightly cheeper than our other supplier. Not heard of Henry Doys though is there one in Manchester if so can you let me have the address please ? Thanks

I think Henry Doys only operate in Edinburgh, used to be called the Edinburgh flower market.
