Colour Wheel
Hi all,
I'm new here so just introducing myself. I'm currently doing a lvl 2 NVQ in Floristry. At the moment we have been asked to do some work on the Colour Wheel, I haven't got a clue, does anyone know if there are any websites that can help me out with some info on this. Regards Belinda |

Hi Belinda
I'm quite new on here and have just seen this thread. I too started floristry in September and had to hand in my colour wheel project just before Xmas. I am a bit worried as all this homework is a bit new to me. How did you get on and what content did you put. If you don't wish to answer I won't be offended, it's just a bit comforting to know someone else out there is doing the same things. Good luck with the rest of your course. Sharon |

Hi Belinda and Fizzytwig,
I've also been researching the colour wheel for my foundation course, and i found the following site http://www.apbz08.dsl.pipex.com/gard...olourwheel.htm It is quite a good page explaining about primary colours etc. Just thought I'd post it on for anyone else who is doing a course in the future.

Hi Newbee
Thanks for the link, I have already finished my colour wheel assignment, had to hand it in just before Xmas. A new one is coming up I think about colour and light (should be fun-not). Let me know how you're getting on. |

I am a student and did a laurel chaplet for memorial weekend in November. Must say thoroughly enjoyed making it but a lot of stuff you have to make you would probably never see a florist these days ever doing. We have a lady on work experience in our class, she is training to be a floristry lecturer and was a florist for years previously and she laughs at some of the things we have to make. Oh and don't get me started on ivy corsages, hate them, hate them, hate them arghhh
