Teddy Tribute (help)
Please can you help?
How many xths for a 19inch teddy shape please? Thinking along the lines of a 21 inch solid heart which I think is about 30stems - should this do it? Or can I get away with less? Thanking you in advance. |

It depends how open the double whites are. In my notes the last teddy I did took only 19 double whites but I had the stems for several days and they were nicely open. If you have only had the doubles for a day they will be pretty closed so you would need more - hope that helps.

Just for future reference 19" teddy took 30 stems. watch out with the eyes and nose as the spike isn't long enough - found it best to base 1st then glue them on.

wow that's a difference. I've just checked my notes again and I definately used 19 or so it says. Shows the difference when they are very open, and there are 2 different teddy designs one may take more than the other.
Nose and eyes, I usually wrap wire round the "stem" and use that to insert into the foam to hold them, but gluing is a good idea, thanks.
