If its any consolation at all, I guess they are more upset about losing someone. As long as you show you are mortified I think they will understand. The 'lifes too short' thing should be part of their vocab at the moment.

By the way, you can't please everyone all of the time- I should know!

if you refund the while amount try and get the FD to cough up for some of it too, it was entirely their fault!

Well its all quite a mystery really because i haven't heard anything at all.I thought they would be on my doorstep first thing this morning.Just can't understand it.Not heard a thing all day.The only explanation i can think of is that when they had the service at lunchtime i'm wondering if they just took the coffin out of the hearse and not the flowers.Then everything went back to the undertakers and then at 4 they went to the crematory and my flowers were at the undertakers by then.So they may not have even known the flowers weren't there.Just going to keep quiet at the mo,don't see any sense in causing myself trouble,think i've been through enough stress the past few days and i hardly slept a wink all night!!!

Thanx Celtic Class hun,what a close shave that was!!! i've certainly learnt a few things tho,like double double checking and making sure i have the name of the guy at the undertakers who gave me the info!!!!
