How awful for you, have you heard from the family yet?

If they had the service first, elsewhere, they probably would not have had the flowers with them anyway.
I know when my MIL died, we had a church service first then crematorium later, and it was at the crem the flowers came out. There were no flowers at the church apart from the church flowers.
I hope that this is the case with you. Could you not check with the undertaker that all was ok with the family re: flowers.
You dont want to keep worrying that they are going to come back in a weeks time or so to complain.

Ali I do feel for you especially after all the care you took. I'm sure if you do approach them first it would be better. Mistakes happen. Horrible some times but its impossible to avoid all the time. If I had a virtual chokkie bar I would send it to you! Keep your chin up and have a good nights sleep that will probably help put things in perspective.

I think that is good advice Ali, if you contact the undertakers and just say, "did the family say anything about the flowers?" It's best to know one way or another. good Luck love.

I've spoken to the undertakers and they said nothing was mentioned at all and the flowers were put out for the crem so looks like its all ok.Phew!!!!

Glad to hear all maybe the undertaker didn't get it wrong after all but again it is a lesson for us all check and check again
