How is it that you hardly see a soul all day, you then need to close for five mins to run a delivery over to someone and a customer walks in and proceeds to browse for half an hour? She spent 11 quid on cards so I'll let her off this time. This always happens or they all pile in at half five when you try to close up. Customers eh?!

Ha ha, it's the same with red roses, no bugger wants them when you've got loads, as soon as you get an order for a dozen 2 more come in and you end up turning people away.

my least fav is when I've the driver sent home early cos its quiet and an IF order pings on the computer at three minutes past two!!

thats so right!! last friday was like flaming mini valentines!! and the other shop in town foned me as well to see if I could get them some from somewhere!! and then I had to have more on sat as well. strange how it does that occasionally.
