Hello everyone, are you all ready for xmas?? seems like people want something really special this year. They are asking for lots of "different" things. Lots of traditional stuff, but also things that you wouldnt necessarily see at xmas. Lots of table arrangements, swags and wall sconces seem to be "in" down here. People are even bringing in their own containers and candle holders which is nice, (although they think they are paying less that way). It means that they can have something personal to them. They are willing to pay so why not. Anyone else doing anything "different" ths year??

Hi Kat,
We have had lots of request for black and cerice pink 'stuff' cos thats what we have in our window, lots of exotics too, which is great. We have a few people that also bring in their own bits, but we had a sad one the other day. We did a door wreath for a lady about 5 years ago and every year since she has appeared with all the bits off it in the same little bag to have another one done. Last week her husband came in with the bag and ordered the wreath, when I asked how his wife was he said she died in August but he wanted to continue the tradition of the wreath - ahhh what a sweety. Anyway off to spray some more wreaths black - love that oasis spray - keeps me happy all day!!

how sad about that lady. Still what a nice thing to do for the husband. Black and cerise! yum sounds fab. Its great to try out something new, I still love the traditional stuff but people are getting a lot more creative in their orders. I am all wreathed out tho. Still it is fun. Lots of feathers and shiny bits about. I can never get enough!!
