Hospitals

With so many hospitals now not accepting fresh flowers would it be a good time to start selling silk arrangements maybe in living cards (I know a few of you do not like them but, they do have some use)will the hospitals allow these on the wards? Just thinking how we could all make some money if we are loosing the trade for fresh.

they should accept silks cos I believe their 'reason' is the dirty water that causes bacteria/spreads it. But to be honest I think they were just looking for a scape goat. The same should apply for fruit baskets as someone metnioned recently, they shouldn't be a problem either. Luckily my local hospital hasn't banned flowers (touch wood) cos we do go there at least once a day, sometimes four or five items a day
