who can get themselves in the paper first?
IF said last week a shop got themselves press coverage for pushing flower deliveries as an alternate way to reach people whilst the postal strike is on. Since it looks like there are going to be strikes for a good few weeks we've all got time to try this angle. After all we do offer a unique service with same day delivery.
You could go for which ever side works best for your shop: helping businesses make contact with their customers or sending alternative and on time birthday wishes... those that sell cards could also put emphasis on their range of cards as well. All you need to do is email a press release to your local paper or even phone them, they pay more attention if you enclose a relevant photo. Lets see who can get themselves some free publicity

I just can't be bothered with it all to be honest. Have a massive window and haven't got that much pink stuff and am certainly not buying shedloads of it. I'm grumpy today. Had my toe seen to cos its minging and it hurts like bloody hell.

ohhh,,,didn't mean that to sound uncaring,,,I have the breast cancer pins on counter and have been selling them and do sell loads of the pink rose /lily h-tieds,,,I do support it,,oohh feel awful now,,
