I had a message from Yell.com, who I pay alot to advertise with. It says something along the lines of ' you have an enquiry re a wedding' please call ***** for more details. It doesnt even tell you who sent the email. So, you have to ring Yell at a cost of over 55p a minute! I know I'm being squeaky but I'm paying well over a grand a year to them for advertising so why should I pay them when a customer chooses to contact me? I think I will ring them on monday and give them my wrath. Has anyone else had this from them?

not had this - well not yet and i certainly don't want it! Did you make the call? was it a real enquiry and how long did it take? (i'm also paying well over £1k a year)

I called the number from my mobile and thats the only reason I knew it was so expensive to call so put it down again a bit sharpish. I think I will ring someone anyway and complain. Thats a good monday job!

well please let us know the outcome - florists are already in the most expensive advertising bracket and it won't take many minutes to eat away all the profit.

Sounds a bit suss to me Alby. Why would they call Yell and not you direct? Be interested to hear the outcome.

I had it once about a year ago. I got an email on my personal address not shop,,by the time I read it , it was too late to do anything about it. I rang em and moaned!! Never really did understand why it came through like that and not straight to shop. Sorry can't be of more help.
