Hi and welcome to the forum
![]() I am also a silky, but sorry cannot help you with this one. All I would do is try to do a deal with the florist who stocks the decent quality ones you have seen. If you are upfront they may be willing to help out. |

I live in California and I'm finding Frangipani are not as popular with my local wholesalers. The one company I found that carries them have very poor quality and that's not acceptable.
I'm looking for multiple colors of them. I became inspired when I went to Hawaii and found those beautiful flowers everywhere! They are gorgeous and fragrant. In Hawaii they call them Plumeria. I even named my new wedding floral company, 'Plumerias Wedding Flower Boutique" I'm determined to find them!!! Roberta |

They have been very poplular here for about the last 3 years.. Just about every Bride wants a Frangipanni bouquet - It's getting to that stage where we are a bit sick of them
I know what you mean by some of the artificial ones being a bit tacky looking.. the "Real touch" or latex ones are the way to go. I am surprised that you have been unable to source them off any of your artificial wholsalers. Maybe you could try importing them yourself - they seem to come from Asian manufactures. If this is any help here is one wholesaler - they are located on the Gold Coast, QLD, Australia www.giftlines.com.au Frangipanni are a real FAD here... From Stickers for cars to photo frames, candles etc - I even saw a car sticker recently that had a frangipnni flower with a huge cross going thru it, with the slogan "NO MORE FRANGIPANNI" |

Well, it's interesting that Frangipanis are such a fad in some parts of the world, and in others, you'd think they didn't exist!!
As for the sticker about no more frangipanis......you know what they say, "One man's trash is another man's treasure" ![]() I'm currently looking into the Giftline option, but I think I might have finally hit some gold on Ebay of all places. There's a seller there that may be just what I'm looking for. And by the way, the sticker about no more franginpanis is being sold on ebay!! Thanks to everyone who tried to help me. I had no idea it was going to be so hard to find someone who can provide me with the quality flowers I want. I want to start making bouquets - and soon!! Roberta |

Hey Potty.. I guess you wouldn't have them there?? - They are suited to tropical enviroments and are the flower off a tree that is EVERYWHERE here... The are very fragrant and have a waxy feel to them, the only down side to the fresh ones are that they are not long lasting as a wired bloom, bruise very easily and the stems have a lot of sap, so when you work with them you end up being very sticky..!! Hence why the Artificial one ares popular - and some of these are VERY realistic...
