oooooh you lucky sod. here everything is open and trading on boxing day and keeps going through for the january sales. madness

i don't know if i will open inbetween xmas and new year yet. if i had staff and had to pay them weather we were open or not i would but it is just me and a cousin helping out so will see how it goes. then again new year people might be having dinner parties and want table arrangements and such. ho hum. will go with the flow. don't blame you for shutting up, if it is accepted then you won't upset any customers.

that drink sounds good on the decking. you never know i might make it back to oz for a holiday one day and will have to join you

Well we opened this Month 2005 and it was just fine...had 6 weeks to bed in before christmas...did a massive walkround dropping leaflets to say we were open and local support that first Christmas was great, by the 2nd Christmas we were bursting at the seams with customers and eventually shut the door at 16.00 Christmas Eve with not a flower in the shop. Then it was feet up with a very large stiff drink...So good luck with opening and all the stress that goes with it and the milion and 1 extra things you have to think about.
