What is Syclle?
As above really.
I have been in touch with a florist and she is suggesting a posy of Syclle and old English Ivy for my wedding. Anybody any idea what it is, I googled it but nothing came up. Does anybody have any pictures, thanks. Thanks in advance. |

No Sisal is string I know that one, its flowers I'm not good with. Thanks though.
Here is the email Quote:
Let me explain, We are getting married in Hartlepool onboard a regency era ship, We are keeping the regency theme for the whole wedding, I will be wearing a regency style dress, and wanted my flowers to be in keeping, ie in season (wedding mid May), growing in the uk in the early 1800's. So my brief was a little odd. Any other suggestions would also be great. |

never heard of it, you should ask the florist for a picture of it or its latin name then you may have more chance finding out what it is

I have emailed her, but is taken 3 weeks to get this suggestion so I'm not hopeful of getting an answer in the near future.
I think I've solved it (with some help) She had spelt it wrong its Syclla, not syclle. Thanks for your help Last edited by tensing; 26-01-2007 at 10:32 AM. |
