- Grew in the UK, if possible north of England in the early 1800's
- If possibble, but this is not as important in shades of Blue and Ivory

Hi there Caroline,
I have replied to your previous question, I am sure its scilla's that you are looking for. It makes it easier if you ask for blue bells
I would suggest googling your question to find out what flowers where around in the 1800's.
everybody here obviously have a good flower knowledge, but most flowers used in the past are not used nowadays due to the fact that they cannot be grown commercially.
Scillas are available in blue, pink & white. Obviously lilly of the valley is an option (but can sometimes be difficult to source in May) You might be better off sourcing flowers that "look" old fashioned rather than being from the period.
Hope this helps
