Hi all,

Do you remember the days when your business was just a baby??? Well, that's where I'm at with mine and it's pretty neat. I'm excited and very overwhelmed - all at the same time Yip, I'm wigging out

I went into my office today and listened to peoples relationship problems - but couldn't wait to get home and "Play with my flowers" as my silly husband puts it!

I am feeling so good about the direction I am headed with my wedding floral design business and thought, who else to share that with but other florists of course!

Well I hope all goes well for you. Similarly to you I was a Clinical Psychologist, but working with children and adults with severe challenging behaviour an learning disabilities. So quite a change of career!!
My family have been in the horticulture/florists trade for years so am hoping to soon take over the business and currently am studying to do so.

Am sure you will have fun with it, very exciting time...but do remember as I have seen with my family to take the rough with the smooth! Good luck!!

Wow, that is quite a career change ahead for you!

Good luck to you with that. Although I don't have plans to end my work with couples, I do want a creative outlet to fill the time when I'm not at the office. I've always been like that.

And yes, I totally understand your point about taking the rough with the smooth. That has certainly been the case in my current business. I think that applies to just about anything in life or careers, don't you?
