How many times have you answered the phone to hear.."How much is your delivery charge?"

I've put this into the 'silly question dep't.

Do some people assume that every florist in the country has exactly the same flowers, same grade, same condition, same price per stem and wraps or arranges to exactly the same standard with the same flower/stem content in a given bouquet or arrangement.

suppose you phoned a dozen different florists on a given day and had 12 supposedly similar bouquets delivered to your home (let's ignore the fact that there won't be that many florist within the same distance from your house, this is just theoretical), how similar would all those bouquets be?

I'd have thought the question should be "What can i get delivered to this address for £xx"

Yes the qyuestion we get is can I have a bouquet delivered for £25 to wherever and when we quote delivery charge to that area the answer is do you charge for delivery it's only 4 mile away ok well we haven't found a vehicle yet to drive itself on fresh air so of course we charge for delivery. NO we don't say that but would love to then on the other hand someone could ring up for a £10 bunch but would pay any money just to get it delivered. We did get the same question in my last employment and this is always from those who are rolling in cash or I'm a good customer you won't charge me delivery. Does anyone else have this problem with customers.
