Complaint of the day

You sent some flowers to a funeral for us, which we were not able to attend. We have just been to the cemetery and noticed that our flowers were not there. Could you explain this.

Er...when was the funeral exactly?

Er...about 3 weeks ago.

Er........

I had a similar experience 2 years ago only it was on the day of the funeral when deceased sister in law came in distressed her spray was not there it was only ordered on morning of funeral and had to go to the church I made and delivered item myself handing to the undertaker outside the church so knew it should have been there and so for 2 days phone calls to us the undertaker, us contacting the undertaker still no wreath 5 days after the funeral undertaker was doing another funeral and found the tribute in the drawer which is under the coffin he then had to get another made and apology flowers and a considerable discount for the family did us some good as original tribute was £60 undertaker ordered one at £80 and 2 bouquets at £35 each one for sister in law and one for mother of deceased it's an ill wind doesn't do someone some good undertaker never made that mistake again. Unhappy complaint of the day

please, beware. There are customers out there that do this as a thing!!
We had one that tried to complain, she'd gone to the funeral, had a holiday, then complained about her flowers not being there. No flippin' way. i arranged them, delivered them, got a signature, thankfully!!!
If she thought I was paying for her holiday credit card payment, wrong move.
How do they sleep? Sending a funeral tribute, then trying to get a refund for it? Even m & S wouldn't put up with that one!!

Yes the signature is very important and yes it is a bit of hassle but keeps us right in the long run and the bit I hate abour getting signature is for a funeral but again If the sinature is there there ain't no comeback. Rach

complaint of the day

Rach,
another one is, years ago, I did my first ever grouped wreath. Yes, i have to admit, i copied it out of a magazine.
it looked 'the nuts', better than the book. Would you believe, the customer came into the shop, said it was disgusting, he reckoned he could see oasis!!!. No way!! it turned out, someone had changed the cards round, taken ther's of their tribute and put their card on his tribute. Try gettin' out of that one. I did!!!

Bless you ,good luck, just be ahead of them all the time. There are so called 'florists' out there, who actually do 'crap' work. But don't allow them to associate you or you're work with theirs
