Florist News

In case none of you have received a call yet, it's to let you know that Florist Exchange/ Flowers4 are phoning florists to try and get them to renew their membership in their new directory
They have a new spiel about florists in Spain and abroad etc, etc. Also they are claiming that a lot of phone orders you received were actually because your contact number was given to the customer by the florist they spoke to.
If like me, you were daft enough to be conned by them , and pay to be in their directory and not to receive it for at least 5 months after payment, then they are after your hard earned dosh again.

Like you haven't guessed, I told them exactly what I thought when asked why I didn't want to renew my membership!

think most people on here would avoid them like the plague, there have been all sorts of thread on them. Evil people.

Well I'll be requesting my copy for next year. I use it to line the cat tray, the very absorbant paper they use is great.

Just make sure you advise your bank/credit card people that they might try and take a payment from your account for renewal, that's their party trick, generally take one month before it's due, so put a stop on them taking the money because they've done it to my friend last monthif everyone knows to contact banks etc this will stop them ,

We got our copy of the directory remembered PMF said it was only fit for toilet roll/cat litter

Taking money without permission is illegal and as such should be reported. If you can let me know of any cases where this has happened please advise on PM with shop details etc. We are told that Flowers Direct are doign this as well. Any comments?

Flowers4 took money out of my account without permission, although they did give it back after about 5 phone calls to them and a lot of shouting! They are con artists and the odd silly person who doesn't take any notice of that after we've all told them about it (mention no names ) really does deserve to get conned.

Didn't realise WHAT con artists they were until I joined this forum,Just Me.
However had sussed it out prior to that.
I would advise anyone who paid by credit card to contact their bank and request a new card as they have your details and can use them again if they want.
They don't bother about whether it's legal or not, they will still get the interest on your money until you fight for it back.

in true sods-law fashion, i signed up to the flowers4 relay type thing last week - BEFORE reading this and other threads about how pants they are!!!! although its only cost me £50 (half price offer - probably coz everyone else knows how crap they are) but i will heed your warnings and be watching my bank account when i don't renew next year

Don't fret Arum they are highly convincing and very persuasive. I fyou didn't know about them it is SOOO easy to be coerced into going with them.
