I would take it, ive got 1 new years eve. Ive charged over the top, but shes getting what she wants, money in the bank at the end of the day.

we did 1 new years eve and had to deliver the hotel flowers at 6pm NYE as the room was being used for something else..OK was a pain but the knock on was and still is fantastic, as all her family and friends now use our shop, cos we were the only shop who wanted to help her on her special day. So take it with open hands charge the extra and reap the benefits.

We have 11 weddings in December we have turned down 3 for the 27th but have 2 for 28th 1 for 29th and 2 for the 30th we usually get a few between xmas and new year. they are nearly always very nice weddings everyone is in a good/festive mood

I had 2 last year (which was my first xmas in the shop) one after the other, and as my helper has the time off to spend with her family, i did both on my own. it nearly killed me!! and i said i wouldn't do it again - i had every intention of opening the shop while i was there, but was just too busy with wedding work.
so this year i've got 2 more!!! i've taken a wedding for the 27th coz they'd been turned down by other florists (one actually told them she could do it but would make it up before xmas and the flowers might be dead by 27th!!!! - hope she was just trying to put them off booking with her otherwise she must get crap stuff as they wanted callas which last for ages???) & one for the 29th. Fortunately the 27th saw a silk calla wedding i was doing when they came in and have decided it is a safer option & 29th is having a shed load of red roses, which will make me enough pennies so that i don't need to open and i can have a rest!

sorry i must have said this wrong i am taking iti have done these before but was suprised how many florists close and don't take on the weddings around this time
as a matter of fact i have seen the pic she wants and so glad i do take weddings around there as its a fab bq to do can't wait its a really creative one so wait for the pics am going to do a trail one at weekend
