AND THEY CAN'T FIX IT 'TILL TOMORROW.I will never again be glad when the phone stops ringing. On the bright side, we've only got 40 roses left. Whoopie, done it right again. Hi Rach,
Just to clarify, we only make flat boq's to order. We only have hand tied's and arrangements as gifts to go. I suppose its what type of clientelle you wish to attract. We sell shed loads of flat boq's, but we also attract people who like to really spend money. I like both ends of the scale, the little old pensioner who only has £15 to spend is just as important as the up and coming guy who wants to spent £100. They are both as important as each other in my mind. The oap will probably have 10 boq's per year, but the young guy may only spend £100 once a year. Which one spent the most per year? ![]() |

First Valentines Day
Well what can I say,
was feeling very down, now I know there are customers out there, as this was our first Valentine's Day, was worried, but ending up bringing wholesaler back 3 times throughout the day, ended up with just 2 red roses left, so I',m a happy bunny. Learnt alot, even hubby was out with my dad delivering, so looks like they'll be nominated as drivers for the next big event. Shut the shop eventually at 8.30 pm after 14 hours in the shop, then had large takeaway, perfect end to the day. Kept all staff happy with takeaway on Tuesday night, sat here with buckets of roses and a lovely Chinese takeaway, thinking what have I done, then had few glasses or wine, felt ok. Can't wait for Mother's Day. Sally![]()

Hi flowerfairy yes I loved flat bouquets and yes we also had an little old lady who bought a £15 bouq one week and 5 oriental lilies the next and we have a guy who buys twice a year £50 a time one of the staff reckons he has to be pandered to and can't be bothered with the old lady she doesn't spend enough. oh boy some people can't do their sums. Unfortunately none of customers want flat bouq anymore
