Hi

Some time ago I read about someone on this site who made a door wreath using only quality streets. I thought it was such a great idea, I want to give it a go! I've bought the chocs but am not sure sure the best way to make it!

Do you think you'd use an oasis wreath frame and wire each sweet or glue them all on?!!

I would like to make one of them too

great idea - but who, truthfully now, would only eat one a day ????????

I read that post as well and thought it sounded great..I decided I'd give it a go,,I bought a twig based wreath and thought about gluing them on,,but then it might be messy getting them off to eat,,but would you really eat them off the wreath anyway,,,daft question,,,might be better to have a tin of chocs near the wreath for treats!! I'm gonna have a go this week anyway and display it this saturday for towns xmas extravaganza!! We have a treasure hunt thingy for kids based on the 12 days of xmas carol,,I've got the 4 calling birds. If anyone has another idea of how to do it I'll try that as well.

hmmmmmm the temptation is to forget the wreaths and eat the chocs. (how unprofessional am I lol) but, what about having each sweet in a little wrap of cello wrapped cone fashion tied at the top with thin ribbon that also ties it to the wreath. I think that could look quite nice, especially as the cone wraps are kind of icicle shaped.

Lexy about these calling birds. What kind of birds have you bought and are they real birds. I once worked in a place with emotionally disturbed children. They had a minor(spelt wrong) bird. They could definately be called calling birds. This one was good at calling you just about anything. It was such a good mimic, knew every swear word known to man and a few unknown ones as well.

Glue them....its easier trust me lol

I've got 4 parrotts,,,a green a blue a red and a yellow called,,john , paul, george and ringo and they do a nice little harmony of white xmas!!!!

4 peacocky things !! very nice but they can't sing! not real,,xmas tree decs from belgium when I went the other week.
