I probably dont have half as much experience as everyone else on this site, as I'm only 26, but, I have recently bought my own shop. When I used to say to a brilliant florist I used to work with "when will I be as good and as quick as you", she used to say "when your as old as me, I've been doing this longer then you've been alive!" ......................Unquote Not always true... Makes me think of the old saying.... You can have 20 years experience... or a years experience.....20 times

Well, well, well. I didnt think i would course such a stir! Im not saying im going to become a florist over night. All im saying is i have the opportunity to buy an established shop with staff to learn from. In time i will take over, but will take a back seat for a while and learn. Ok, i may not be able to do weddings etc at the mo, but im sure i can make up and deliver members clubs, corporate flowers etc. Thats not rocket science.
