Yes i agree......................but can i not get my exsperiance from the people working in the shop. Surely this is the same as doing work exsperiance in another shop. Only difference is its mine. Im not going to rock any boat. You said what if she doesnt turn in for work. Well what happens if any staff doesnt turn in. You have to deal with it.

Try telling the bride to "deal with it" when she's screaming at you because your staff have left you and you have no idea how to wire her shower bouquet.
Its different learning from working in another shop because they are training you to help them, and its to their advantage. They will have no respect for you at all because you don't know what you are doing. A few years after i first started, i worked for someone who knew nothing about floristry, he used to tell me to do something....i would completley ignore him because i knew more than him, and you might think well i'll just sack them and get someone else.......its not that easy He knew he couldnt sack me because he knew didly squat about flowers, so i took full advantage of that fact. |

So right elouise know 2 in this area who were in same position yes 1 sacked staff no couln't get staff and yes ended up out of business and out of pocket trying to get out of her lease the other put up and shut up and now has a successful business but she has a florist business because her florist is crafty and has not really let her in on all the whys and wherefores so she is still only the name over the door has trained but can't really get enough experience to get shot of florist because she has a bossy nature and does not let any one get the upper hand

The bottom line is --- You can do anything you want to do. All I can say is :- Induce the equine quadruped To element aquatic Ingurgitation it is said May not be automatic In other words :- You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink Good luck |

Unfortunately it is and anyone who has been in the business for years will tell you it is always difficult you have to keep on top of your competitors keep updating your knowledge keep on top of trends and you will never stop learning there is always something new out there been at it 17 years now and still don't know everything and probably never will
