Price's
I'm not even thinking about doing anything myself as yet......don't even start my course till January (if I'm lucky).
But I was wondering, how do you decided what you charge??? Sxx |

Think there's various ways of working out charges. You'll probably cover this at college - I did recently; I also talked to a friend of mine who is a florist and her way was different to what I covered.

Sounds like you probably won't. I'm in my 2nd year and we've only just learnt how to price work.
Not sure if you will find out on here, its a public forum and I can't see professionals being happy to lay bare how they make their money. Good luck with your course and hope to see you on here posting away ![]()

Not too hard really, just takes a bit of practice.
So...for a £50 arrangement.... You look straight into their eyes and in your most positive voice say.. "That comes out at £65.00....." Without breaking eye contact, you watch the facial expression and body language. If a smile starts to form, you quickly say in a very soft voice... "Plus the dreaded v.a.t. of course" On the other hand...if a frown starts to appear.... "But as you're a good customer...£50.00 will be ok"

Lol see I don't know if I could do that.....I'm too much of a softie. Maybe I'll just stick with behind the scenes flowers (when I get started) and let others deal with pricing and customers.....
But thank you that just put a smile on my very dreary, miserable afternoon.... Sxx |
