Essential oils added to orange slices
Try adding a high quality essential oil like 'orange & cinnamon' or any 'Christmassy' oil to your dried orange/lime slices. We've been making cinnamon bundles tied with raffia and a few slices of oranges. Just add a few drops of oil with a tiny paintbrush. It makes all the difference. Sends customers into a buying frenzy.

I've been using essential oils for a while now and they certainly add to the purchasing power.
I use cinnamon spice on the acorns and bag them up with a raffia and tartan bow and they do very well. I also make tree decorations with 2 small cinnamon sticks crossed over , glued with tartan ribbon tied around and stick on an orange slice and a tiny red plastic berry. Dab some cinnamon and orange oil on and away you go. The smell evokes a sense of Christmas, appeals to the senses and money in the till, cause you make them as if they have bought a piece of the Christmas we all want. Never underestimate the power of the senses |
