"Bride" Magazine CD ROM
Anyone else had this phone call asking you to be part of a CD ROM that's going to be attached to Bride Magazine's front cover shortly? Am wondering if its genuine or a scam?!

Thought it was a scam and said no...very charming "researchers say you would be the best florist and only one to be advertised in your area. You come highly recommended etc etc..."

Anyone...??

we were conned last year into advertising with bride magazine, it cost us a lot of money and had no response from it at all. the cd rom was mainly about their magazine and not alot about the advertisers. like a lot of these scams the only people that benefit are the publishers!!!!

They rang us back today after finding our e-mail address and sending us details about it! Unsolicicted mail methinks, so staright into the trash file!!

we had it a while back now, in the summer i think - with the same blurb.. "looked on your website and you seem to be the kind of florist that we REALLY want to feature, etc, etc" until i tell them my 'advertising budget' has been used up for this year, then they can't get off phone quick enough!!

Hiya

This has scam written all over it. I picked up a copy of brides magazine a couple of months ago and there was CD-Rom on it about wedding flowers.

Scam scam scam!!!
