I had something similar happen the other day when a customer came into the shop with a posy made by another florist locally - it was shockly bad! She had the cheek to ask me to 'fix' it, I told her to go back to the florist it came from and complain, she said they were closed. She then asked me to cover it with cello to which I told her it would still look the same, after a lot of huffing and puffing she finally agreed to me making her a basket. I know it is not the fault of the customer but they have some cheek going into a shop where they didn't even place the order and asked for it to be 'fixed' - believe me this was beyond repair!
I think I was more shocked that she walked into the shop for the whole world to see, I was mortified at the thought that people thought I had made it!!! ![]() Would any of you offer to 'fix' someone elses work?? |

NO and yes anyone seeing entering or leaving your shop can only come to the conclusion that it is your work I would have said no to the cello 'But I can gift wrap it very nicely in a lovely designer black bin bag with handles if you would like that'
